What is cabinet refacing?
Cabinet refacing keeps your existing cabinet boxes (the frames screwed to the wall) and replaces everything you actually see: new doors, new drawer fronts, new hardware, and a fresh wood-grain or high-gloss veneer over the exposed sides of the boxes. The result is indistinguishable from a brand-new custom kitchen, at roughly half the cost and a fraction of the disruption.
Refacing is the right call when:

Our refacing process
- In-home consultation & measurement, we evaluate your cabinet boxes, take exact measurements of every door and drawer, and walk through samples (wood species, gloss levels, hardware, edge profiles).
- Design & material order, once you approve the style, we order doors and drawer fronts cut to spec, veneer sheets matched to the doors, and the soft-close hinges and pulls you selected.
- Cabinet box prep, we degrease with Krud Kutter, sand all visible surfaces, fill imperfections, and prime where the new veneer will bond.
- Veneer application, high-quality wood veneer or rigid laminate applied to every exposed surface of the boxes, trimmed and edge-banded for a seamless factory look.
- Install new doors, fronts & hardware, soft-close concealed hinges, drawer slides if needed, new pulls or push-to-open mechanisms.
- Final adjustment & walkthrough, every door aligned, every reveal even, every gap consistent. We don’t leave until you sign off.
Pricing
Doors and drawer fronts: priced per piece, depending on door style, material, and finish (premium options like solid wood and shaker MDF cost more than thermofoil).
Veneer on cabinet boxes: included in the per-piece price for matching ends, sides and toe-kicks.
Hardware (soft-close hinges + pulls): included in the standard package; specialty hardware quoted separately.
Project minimum: a higher overall total than refinishing.
Payment terms: 50% deposit to order materials, 50% on completion. Zelle or check.

Cabinet refacing replaces your existing doors, drawer fronts, and hardware while keeping the original cabinet boxes. Refinishing keeps the same doors and just paints them. Refacing is the right choice when you want a brand new look without a full kitchen replacement.
What materials do you use for cabinet refacing?
We work with solid wood doors, MDF, and thermofoil depending on your style and budget. We also reskin the visible cabinet box sides so the entire kitchen has a consistent finish.
How long does cabinet refacing take?
Most refacing projects take five to seven days from removal to reinstall. Your kitchen is fully usable except for one to two days during the box work.
Do you replace hardware and drawer slides with refacing?
Yes. New hardware is included as part of the refacing scope. We can also upgrade to soft-close hinges and slides if your current ones are worn or you want the upgrade.
